Cookies are text files sent by websites visited by users that may be stored on your computer or smartphone when you first visit one of our Websites, allowing us to identify your device the next time you visit one of our Websites. As such, Cookies do not identify the user, but only the computer used, which allows us to improve your browsing experience, for example, by helping us associate your device with your preferences or even providing you with content that we believe may be of interest to you.

Cookies collect only generic information, such as how the user arrived at our Websites and how they navigate (e.g., mouse movements within the page and mouse clicks), but do not collect information about the user. PB uses three types of cookies:

  • Cookies simples: These cookies are necessary for the Websites to function efficiently, they record the user's path during their visit without identifying them and are automatically deleted when they leave our Website.

  • Persistent cookies: These cookies are not essential for the Websites to function, but they allow us to identify users each time they access the pages, optimizing their browsing experience. These cookies provide a unique number that identifies the user when they visit the PB website. Persistent cookies remain on the computer until deleted by the user.

  • Other cookies or third-party cookies: Other companies and services use our website for advertising purposes. You may occasionally receive cookies sent by these companies/services. We have no control over the sending of these cookies.

Both simple and persistent cookies may be used in the email messages we send. Users can delete or block the reception of cookies at any time. If you choose not to allow the use of simple cookies, you may not be able to use our websites or certain features of our HTML email messages.

In addition to cookies, some of our web pages and HTML messages integrate pixel tags (pixel tags and web beacon pixels) that allow us to track users on our websites and the recipients of our communications. These tags do not collect personal information and are used to collect data that helps us determine popular destinations, among other things.

Using these tags, we can find out the number of emails and newsletters that are opened, as well as the specific content that is viewed within these communications. This allows us to identify those users who, by not opening our communications, we should question whether they are still interested in continuing to receive the information, but also to inform potential advertisers of the specific number of readers who opened or clicked on their content.
